Mutual Aid

Working to meet survival needs and build shared understanding about why people do not have what they need.

  • Combating food apartheid and promoting food security by providing access to fresh food, non-perishables, hygiene supplies, postpartum care items, baby essentials (diapers, food, formula, toys, etc.), elder support items, and pet supplies.

  • Access to trauma-informed care during and post-crisis; grief support, tenant assistance, reproductive, pregnancy, and postpartum support.

  • Partnering with grassroots projects and organizations on the South Side of Chicago who are launching or practicing mutual aid.

  • After-school programming, summer camp, and field trips.

  • Partnering with organizations who prioritize full spectrum health, mental wellness, safety, and comfort in frontline communities.

  • Supporting pets and their parents with the resources they need to lead happy and healthy lives together.
